Overview
Responsible for processing vendor invoices in accordance with established procedures set by the Accounting Department guidelines. This includes ensuring that all documents supporting invoice approval are present.

Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate data entry of invoices daily and analyze to ensure all needed information is included
- Code invoices to correct job /GL account
- Verify sales & use tax rates, calculate additional tax accruals as necessary
- Ensure expense reports comply with company policies and are accurate documented
- Monitor pack hold list to use 3-way match to prove proof of delivery or BOL tickets to invoices
- Review monthly vendor statements
- Communicate with internal employees to address and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly
- Communicates clearly and effectively with vendors to resolve billing issues, while maintaining positive relationships
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while processing invoices
- Maintain an organized electronic filing system
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with field employees
- Various other administrative duties as requested
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proficient in Word, Outlook & Excel
- A general knowledge of Accounting & Accounts Payable principals
- Exceptional time management skills, along with verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to identify problems and find resolutions
- Committed to working efficiently & accurately
- Ability to multi-task
- Effectively respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and coworkers
- Able to work overtime on occasion
- Construction experience a plus
