ENTACT is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to work in our Westmont, IL office. This role will be in the office 5 days a week while training, then could shift to hybrid arrangement (2-3 days in office per week) once training is successfully completed.
Essential Job Functions:

  • Processing Expense Reports
  • Assist with weekly check runs
  • Maintaining hard copy filing system
  • Entering of accounts payable invoices
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Additional requirements include excellent organizational/administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage own workload and adjust priorities to meet deadlines
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with accounting software, word, excel, 10-key and other general office equipment required
  • 2-3 years accounts payable experience preferred
  • Team-player and "can-do" attitude
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Viewpoint Accounting program a plus
  • Knowledge of Purchase Orders and Subcontracts a plus

  • No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects may be required.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform such activity such as viewing a computer, extensive reading, preparing and analyzing data and figures.
  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Job success often hinges upon interpersonal communication and relationship development skills, and job tasks require frequent interchange and successful completion depends in large part upon effective interaction and communication with others.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to safely travel by air, car, train, or bus.

Work Environment:
The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
