This role requires expertise in wiring electrical panels, reading electrical prints, and troubleshooting machinery using PLCs. The technician will be trained on the machines they are building and will communicate with customers to provide technical assistance. This position involves domestic travel for customer support.nnBuild and troubleshoot customers' machinery.nnWire electrical panels and read electrical prints (expert level, European AutoCAD blueprints).nnTroubleshoot machinery using PLCs.nnCommunicate with customers to provide technical assistance.nnUse various manuals, drawings, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical equipment.nnCoordinate parts, documents, and follow-up resulting from service calls, emails, and field trips.nnTravel domestically to customer locations 4-6 days per month.nnAct as a contact for service calls, emails, and customer visits.nnAdditional Skills & Qualifications:nnExperience in troubleshooting machinery.nnExperience with machine rebuilds and assembly.nnExpertise in PLCs.nnAbility to wire electrical panels.nnGood driving record and a valid passport.nnTravel experience.nnExperience in GMP or food industry.nn60/40 mechanical/electrical skills.nnService experience.nnWork Environment:nnDomestic travel 20-30% of the time, involving 4-6 days a month and occasional week-long projects.
