POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist works under general supervision to perform moderate and high complexity laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Associate's degree from an approved Medical Laboratory Technician program, including training in an approved hospital MLT program
- OR, Bachelor's degree from an approved Medical Technology program
- OR, Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science, including one full year of training in an approved hospital MT program
- No bench experience required. This level includes all Technologists/Technicians with less than three years of generalist experience; and all part time technologists
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory, preferred
WORK SCHEDULE: First Week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 8:00AM - 8:00PM, Sunday 1:00PM - 8:00PM. Second Week: Wednesday, Thursday 8:00AM - 8:00PM
