This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

What You’ll Do:
n
n- n
Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility.
n n- n
Perform electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures.
n n- n
Review and lead electrical safety program for the plant maintenance team.
n n- n
Service, troubleshoot, and repair any problem of any electrical/mechanical nature.
n n- n
Adherence to all quality systems & safety procedures including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and PSM procedures in everyday work routine.
n n- n
Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the addition of new devices, and hardware.
n n- n
Other duties as assigned.

Education:
n
n- You have your High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
n
n
What Skills You Need:
n
n- n
You possess working knowledge and are willing and able to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
n n- n
You have two or more years of Industrial Electrician or Industrial Maintenance education/experience including working on production equipment such as hydraulics, instrumentation, controls, HVAC, etc.
n n- n
You have logical problem-solving skills, and decision-making ability.
n n- n
You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting.

You have a valid US Driver’s License.
n n- n
You have experience and proven proficiency in computer systems and programs including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and tend to pick up quickly on new software.
n n- n
You know how to schedule work/jobs and you do an excellent job of following up on completion status.
n n- n
You value working as a team, are proactive, communicate concerns, and are accepting of change.
n n- n
You uphold health and safety to the highest standard! You consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day.

You are willing/able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours including weekend work as needed during seasonal peaks to support production demand.

What Makes You Stand Out:

Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree within the Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field.
n n- n
Journeymen license.
n n- n
Experience with a work order and part inventory system.
n n
