About the Facility - Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) The PIMC provides direct health care services to 156,815 patients. The Tribes that comprise the Phoenix Service Unit are the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, and the San Lucy District of the Tohono O'odham Nation, the Tonto Apache Tribe, the Yavapai-Apache Indian Tribe, and the Yavapai Prescott Indian Tribe. Tribal members who receive care at PIMC are often residents of the greater Phoenix area and hail from the Tribes throughout the U.S.. the Phoenix Indian Health Center provides specialty care to rural and remote reservation health care facilities in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.
Facility Address: 4212 North 16th St, Phoenix, AZ 85016 MRI Technologist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) - The MRI Technologist must have experienced in the use of the following equipment: PIMC utilizes Shimadzu digital radiology and fluoroscopy units for its table exams and portable exams. A Canon DR plate system is used for both table and portable image capture.
- Will perform a range of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations per request of the Medical Staff for use in clinical diagnosis, including patient screening and monitoring, patient therapy and status.
- The MRI Technologist shall be sensitive to Cultural aspects of Native American Indians in providing health care as patients.
- Must independently perform MRI examinations.
- The MRI Technologist should be required to complete PIMC mandatory training monthly or as needed.
MRI Technologist - REQUIREMENTS - Education: Academic degree from an accredited Radiology Educational Program (Radiology).
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
- Certification: Current ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support).
