For more information about AbbVie, please visit us at Follow @abbvie on X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Tik Tok ( .nnJob DescriptionnnThe AEM content Author is a team member of the Digital Lab Consumer Channels team within AbbVie’s US Commercial Digital Lab.nnThis role will be responsible for authoring in, updating, and publishing web pages and components within Adobe Experience Manager platform across portfolio for our Brand marketing websites and customer apps.nnThe Author will manage/work with copy, images, videos, PDFs, SEO metadata, and tagging to implement the sites. The Web Content Author will be responsible for publishing and maintain content updates to various websites. All authoring will be done in adherence to content requirements and input from marketers, creative agencies and team leads.nnCreate web pages and author in components within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) based on requirements documentation provided by the Web specialist.nnImplement re-usable components and experience fragments to streamline the authoring process.nnWork closely with QA partners to ensure perfect execution of project briefs.nnManage assets within Adobe Digital Asset Manager.nnCollaborate in a cross functional team throughout the workday.nnIdentify, troubleshoot, and document browser/platform compatibility issues and standards.nnCollaborate and partner with Web specialists and the broader channels team membersnnEdit a variety of digital content as needed, including marketing pages, informational content, navigational elements, form field labels and messaging, error messages, contextual help, alert messages and FAQs.nnWork in a cross-channel environment, authoring content for desktop/laptop and mobile devices.nnWork with Platform Team to ensure all documentation for go lives is accurate and ready for production.nnKey AbbVie Leadership Competencies:nnPositive “all for one” approach to team deliverables and priorities.nnBuilds strong relationships to enable higher performance.nnLearns, fast, grasps the “essence” and can change course quickly where indicated.nnRaises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo.nnCreates a learning environment and open to suggestions.nnEmbraces the ideas of others, nurtures innovation and manages innovation to reality.nnQualificationsnnBachelor’s Degree requirednn5+ years of experience contributing to enterprise websites using Adobe Enterprise Manager (AEM) for authoring/updating contentnn5+ years authoring CSS changes in an enterprise website capacitynnFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Cloud UI & UX applications (Xd, InD, Figma, Photoshop, etc.)nnCompetency with web UX conventions and standards, including accessibility and SEOnnGeneral knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.nnAbility to troubleshoot web front-end functionality issues, cross browser and device issuesnnMS Office Suites background (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).nnExposure to Agile development process preferrednnExperience in pharmaceuticals or another highly regulated industry requirednnExperience with Workfront is a plusnnCompetencies:nnSelf-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skillsnnExcellent organizational/time management, planning/prioritization skills and troubleshooting skillsnnRequires strong collaboration and people skills to be effective managing through a highly matrixed organizationnnAttention to detail and follow-through on execution.nnComfortable juggling multiple, concurrent with tight deadlinesnnExcellent judgment and the ability to handle escalated situationsnnProven ability to build relationships and work independentlynnProfessional manner and approach in working within a teamnnAcumen for how digital agencies operate: scope of work process/mgmt., timelinesnnInquisitive, strong analytical skills, including the ability to infer and apply learnings.nnOutstanding communicator and comfortable interacting with a diverse group of technical and non-technical peoplennAdditional InformationnnApplicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ?nnThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
