Previous hospital experience is necessary. The technologist will be responsible for the operation of the ultrasound equipment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. This includes outpatient, inpatient, emergent situations. Sonographer needs to be able to perform all basic adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures; including 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler and 3-D LVEF exams; edits tracing, making measurements, and entering data into a computer. As well as meeting departmental needs including recognizing arrhythmias and implications of specific cardiac and related diagnoses to obtain optimal studies. Sonographer would be responsible for working with DH Cardiology to ensure imaging and reporting is correct and transferring between the facilities accurately.
Qualifications:
Minimum - Associates Degree from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program or RDCS/RCS - eligible background.
RDCS (AE) certified
RVT (VT) recommended but not required
Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire upon start date.
BLS certified
Minimum 5 years' experience in hospital settings requested
