Position Summary: Responsibilities include welding metal pipelines using arc, mig or stick welding equipment. The individual will be able to weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions. Position may also require traveling to another state depending on customer demands.nnEssential Functions:nnWork with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.nnPractical problem solving; ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.nnInterpret variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.nnWork effectively in a team environment and have a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.nnMinimum Requirements:nnAble to lift and move materials and/or items in excess of 50 lbs.nnAble to perform vigorous physical labor.nnAble to read drawings.nnAbility to climb up and downnnRequires 1-3 years of working experience.nnQualified welder in conformance with API Standard 1104nnMust have own basic hand tools.nnAble to use and/or perform work using the following tools and equipment on a continuous basis or when necessary:nnMig weldernnAluminum weldernnOverhead cranennPress brakennShearnnBand sawnnAble to work in an environment or surrounding with noise, smoke and fumes on a daily basis.nnWilling to work over-time when requested.nnAssociate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.nnRelated experience in lieu of education will be considered.nnValid operator’s license and DOT physical.
