Join our highly skilled team in providing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.nnSeasonal Position Details:nnFull-Time work schedule required for no less than 13-week assignmentnn15% Premium Pay (Seasonal Premium)nnNo Health Benefits, 401(k) Eligiblenn$1,000 Seasonal Bonus paid after 30 days in positionnn$1,000 Seasonal Bonus paid after 60 days in positionnn$1,000 Seasonal Completion Bonus after completion of 13-week assignmentnnWhat We Offer:nnFlexible scheduling: 4x10 shifts with potential for on-call rotationsnnAdventure access: Work in a region known for its world-class skiing, hiking, and Glacier National Park.nnResponsibilities:nnPrepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.nnOperate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment.nnEnsure patient safety and provide excellent care during procedures.nnCollaborate with cardiologists, RNs, and other healthcare professionals.nnMaintain accurate records and comply with all safety and quality protocols.nnWhat We’re Looking For:nnCurrent RCIS or ARRT certification.nnBLS and ACLS certification (must be current).nnA minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.nnStrong technical skills and attention to detail.nnAbility to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.nnSeize this opportunity to combine your expertise with the natural beauty of Montana. Apply now to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!nnQualifications:nnGraduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.nnAART Certification in Radiology (R) required.nnCurrent Montana Radiologic Technology License required.nnBLS required. ACLS must be successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.nnMinimum of one (1) of the below Certifications must be successfully obtained within two (2) years’ of hire.nnCardiac-Interventional (CI)nnVascular Interventional (VI)nnRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)nnMinimum of one (1) year experience in the below preferred:nnInterventional CardiologynnInterventional RadiologynnRadiologynnExcellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.nnCommitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.nnExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.nnPossess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.nnJob Specific Duties:nnPerforms and reviews patient history. Responds to patient response to diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.nnProvides patient care in lab as directed by the physician. Assists with procedures performed by vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologist, and/or radiologists.nnPerforms technical support before, during, and post procedure based on Institutional policy, ASRT Practice Standards, and Montana Code.nnOperates and maintains all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment utilized for procedures, per vendor specifications and guidelines.nnMonitors patients during procedures.nnAssists with maintenance of inventory for Hybrid OR, Cath Lab, EP Lab and/or interventional labs.nnSets up procedure trays prior to procedure start. Participates and/or coordinates patient care and flow.nnExhibits proper safety as appropriate to the area and ensures radiation safety for all who enter the room. Reports all malfunctioning equipment and or errors and documents all safety related issues and outcomes per department procedure and protocol.nnParticipates in developing and updating procedures and protocols.nnMaintains accountability to technologist competency and quality control standards.nnActively continues education and stays abreast of current technology and trends in the interventional cardiology and/or interventional radiology field.nnThe above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification.
