Weekend Premium Position Requirements: a. Agree to a full-time position (36 hours per week, 72 hours per pay period).
b. Agree to work two 12-hour shifts every weekend and one 12-hour shift during the week to total a 36 hour work week.
c. I will receive the Weekend Differential Rate of an additional
$15.00 per hour in addition to my base rate for my two 12-hour shifts that I work on the weekend, no other shift differentials will apply.
d. When I work my one 12-hour shift during the week, or pick up any extra shifts I will receive my base rate and any shift differentials;
you must work 4 hours into the shift time to get the differentials (Monday - Thursday 3p - 11p = $3.50 per hour and 11p-7a = $3.75, Friday - Sunday 11p - 7a = $6.00 per hour, or Saturday - Sunday 7a - 3p = $4.00 per hour and 3p - 11p = $5.50 per hour)
The Staff Technologist provides patient services using imaging modalities, and performs diagnostic procedures. Applies principles of radiation protection and the ALARA principle, exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures, provides patient care essential to imaging procedures, recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures, establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. Performs imaging services "on call" as needed.
Additional Job Description Education: Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
Licenses/Certificates: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible SCRQSA license required Advanced ARRT registration preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association is required.
