Glocomms is currently partnered with an exciting, high-growth FinTech company. This company has recently launched an AI-powered platform to consolidate and automate compliance processes for financial firms of all sizes. They are securing compliance for over 100 clients and have backing from notorious VC's.

There is a ton of momentum going into 2025, and they are now seeking a crucial hire to come in at the Staff level, ideally serving as a tech lead for their engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance including code reviews
• Guide the technical direction of the product and team
• Design, develop, and test the codebase of their platform
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional code

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related area
• 7+ years' experience in software development
• 2+ years' experience leading junior engineers
• Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Experience building object oriented web applications in TypeScript, React, and Python

Nice to have:

• Previous startup experience
• Understanding of the private equity space
