Responsibilities

About This Position In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center health care philosophy the Radiologic Technologist III performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for specific radiographic procedures angiography or cardiac cath procedures CT or MRI procedures and or mammography procedures. Must be able to run the floor in the absence of the Radiology Supervisor to include staff scheduling and assignments ordering supplies supervising students and volunteers decision making and counseling). Must be working and scheduled in all three areas of radiology. n
Qualifications
n
n - Two modalities with 15 years or more experience at Tech II level.
n - Demonstrates competence in all routine fluoroscopic and surgical x-ray procedures.
n - Must be able to run the floor in the absence of the Radiology Supervisor.
n - Or 5 years experience and certified or trained in two other modalities (CTMRI US Mammo NM Angio Cardiac Cath). Must be working and scheduled in all 3 areas.
n - Demonstrates ability to fill supervisory role in the absence of diagnostic supervisor (includes staff scheduling and assignments ordering supplies supervising students and volunteers decision making counseling).
n - Must possess a valid California CRT license with fluoroscopy certificate. ARRT second and third modality.
