Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with climate reporting program, support emission calculations, data quality improvement efforts, and climate reporting controls and regulatory compliance.
  • Track and manage reporting protocols and implement reporting program changes.
  • Support the development and execution of the ACTS database and reporting emissions; including the configuration of greenhouse gas and criteria pollutant emission calculations within ACTS.
  • Engage actively with functional teams including operations and HSE & Security teams, providing guidance and support on various projects and programs.
  • Facilitate and contribute to meetings, offering valuable insights and support in-line with organizational goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Science, Digital Technology, or other industry-related field.
  • Candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in air quality, GHG reporting, and data systems. Knowledge and experience in oil & gas/energy sector or other industries with large quantities of compliance data.
  • An understanding of federal and state air quality permitting, compliance regulations, reporting, and records management including a general understanding of the GHG Protocol and EPA Greenhouse Gas Reporting programs is required.
  • Prefer experience in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah is preferred.
  • Experience with emission calculations and environmental management information systems (EMIS) and databases.
  • Experience with Intelex Asset and Compliance Tracking System (ACTS) database is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
