The PositionThe now accepting applications for Graphic Designer.
The Graphic Designer performs professional graphic artwork in the design and creation of a wide variety of complex materials, illustrations, and publications for the Santa Clara County Office of Education and its clients; create graphic design solutions from conceptualization through completion.
This position is full-time, in-person and has a work year of 12 months, 261 days, 8 hours per day.

Education and ExperienceAny combination equivalent to:
- Education: Associate's degree in computer graphics, public relations, communications or related field AND
- Experience: Three years experience in the preparation and design of graphic materials for publications

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES- Assessments and interviews may take place virtually or in-person.

- Those who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in an oral examination with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for TBD.
- Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list.
- Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for TBD.
- Second interviews may be held in-person.
