Looking for an opportunity where you will make an impact on a Navy shipbuilding program on a day-to-day basis. Then Serco has the right opportunity for you!

As the Senior Radar Cross Section (RCS) Production/Test Analyst you will be part of a dynamic team of SMEs at the HII Shipyard in Pascagoula, MS, where you will be assessing RCS related shipbuilder production and test items. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense, the quality of ships and the safety of our sailors.

This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.

Serco supports the US Navy as a prime providing engineering and production support on the DDG 51 (Guided Missile Destroyer) program. In this role, you will be part of a skilled group of RCS production analysts at the shipbuilder's facility and with a mission to improve the efficiency and quality of the shipyard's processes and to deliver a safe and reliable ship that meets all Navy the requirements.

In this role, you will:
  • Conduct daily oversight and surveys of conditions at the HII Shipyard in Pascagoula, MS.
  • Brief PMS 400D and SUPSHIP Gulf Coast as needed to report any significant conditions found or observed trends that could affect cost, quality, or schedule.
  • Conduct surveys and audits of RCS shipbuilding items.
  • Assess RCS related shipbuilder production and test items.
  • Conduct/participate in Passive Countermeasure System (PCMS) audits and inspections.
  • Prepare reports and provide analysis on RCS test results.
  • Evaluate proposed and approved ECPs and SHIPALTs to determine impact on RCS and advise the program on RCS issues.
  • Support production reviews, milestone readiness assessments, trials, delivery, and post-delivery planning.
  • Monitor and report on physical progress of all hulls.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings with SUPSHIP, shipyard personnel and subcontractors, providing inputs when needed.
  • Observe overall quality of craft work and report any conditions found.
  • Observe material handling, rigging and transport practices for safe methods and processes and report any issues/concerns.
  • Develop and submit weekly/monthly reports of activities as required.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance post-employment.
  • US Citizenship
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 8 years of experience
  • Expertise in PCMS tiling policies and procedures.
  • Prior RCS program experience.
  • Experience conducting shipboard RCS audits.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and technical report writing skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
