Department Summary: The MITRE Enterprise Staffing Accelerator Cell is seeking a Business Operations Lead to join our team. The Business Operations Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Enterprise Staffing effort. The Enterprise Staffing effort is a fast paced, agile program with critical milestones for our business units and staff.
Roles & Responsibilities: - Maintain and support the MITRE enterprise staffing products and materials in support of knowledge management
- Observe, review and analyze "how we work" to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made through team retrospectives
- Assist PL with project-related staffing, allocation management, budgeting, and any related integration, coordination, and communications activities
- Own products such as the training for new Hybrid Reports for business units and people leaders
- Collect and analyze data related to success metrics - this can involve generating reports, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to improve
Performing administrative tasks, such as meeting coordination, submitting purchasing requisitions, administering data calls, contract support, etc. - Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Basic Qualifications:- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Quantitative mindset with proven skills in financial management and budgeting
- Experience overseeing project management and creating presentations and visualizations of timelines, milestones, and objectives related to budgets and resources.
- Significant experience and demonstrated excellence partnering with support functions, including human resources, finance, contracts, and talent acquisition
- Excellent communication skills, works well independently and within a team
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft products including OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneNote, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good time management, prioritization and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues
- Comfortable in a high-pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of streamlining processes or reducing waste in previous roles
- Experience working with Salesforce.com
- Experience is operations or finance in a diverse, technology-focused organization
