Job Description

We are Mosaic.

We are builders. We build brands in dimension. We build relationships on universal respect. We build experiences that last. We build careers at the intersection of passion and opportunity.

As an integrated marketing agency, we've been creating value, driving growth and improving the world around us for over 30 years. We've done it with the smartest, most diverse and curious folks we can find - and because of our continued growth and success, we're looking for more trailblazers, risk-takers and storytellers who will help us pave the way for innovative creative solutions.

When you walk into Mosaic, be prepared to be unprepared. We don't do status-quo. Every single day brings something new and unexpected, and with that comes the opportunity to create something truly great and meaningful. Each of our team members draws on the wealth of our experiences to bring a unique and powerful perspective to the work we do together, a collaborative team that uses our collective creativity to help shape the modern world of integrated marketing across experiential, content, media, shopper, and measurement practices.

Senior Account Manager: Client Engagement

The Senior Account Manager serves as a strategic practitioner with excellent communication skills and the ability to focus clients and internal team members on the right effort. Primary responsibilities include serving as the primary day-to-day client lead, supporting director-level teammates and greater team on key initiatives, leading cross-functional agency collaboration, client presentation development and coordination, internal leadership and ownership of final client deliverables (across planning, activation and measurement). Your hands on approach will be required to provide direct insight and strategy on how to improve and grow the programs, clients, and ensure success in all experiential or integrated opportunities. You'll be expected to roll up your sleeves, handle high stress situations, utilize problem solving techniques to find the best solutions, and must have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to, day-to-day client lead for your clients - when they need anything, they will think of you (well mostly just for marketing stuff)
  • Develop ongoing partnerships with clients, internal cross-functional teams and vendors (this is Mosaic's secret sauce and why our clients are always asking for more)
  • Be seen as a credible voice on behalf of the agency and as a dynamic champion of our work
  • Mentor and develop junior team members - whether they report to you or not - and be the example for them to aspire to become (this role might have direct reports)
  • Be the champion of extraordinary work and agency culture - by providing inspiration, leadership and expertise in Mosaic's agency offerings
  • Manage the profitability of work - be cost-conscious of account expenses and alert to opportunities for growth in other project assignments (this role will directly contribute to the financial success of the organization)
  • Be a good internal partner - know when to ask for help from our amazing cross-functional agency counterparts who know how to do it best

Qualifications

What you Bring:
  • Experience working across a variety of client business and with an array of cross-functional agency units
  • 7+ year track record of success and increasing responsibility in an agency or client environment (at least some cross functional agency experience is critical)
  • An understanding of integrated marketing with a specific focus on large and small scale experiential initiatives such as B2B, sampling, sponsorships and other event marketing initiatives
  • Ridiculously strong communication skills - verbal, written and interpersonal
  • Very comfortable and familiar with budgeting and proposal building to sell our ideas to the client
  • A passion for understanding client business challenges and an ability to rally internal teams to help solve
  • An insatiable curiosity combined with the ability to think critically translating into creativity (grounded in strategy) that can be applied to your client business day in and day out
  • Juggling skills. Seriously, you'll be expected to keep a lot of balls in the air, with each progressing towards an on-target, on-time, and on-budget delivery of client mandates
  • The self-awareness to know when to listen, when to speak and when you've said enough
  • The self-confidence to sell what you believe in, and to own it when it goes south (and yes, this will happen) - you are the champion of the client and your team's collective work
  • Exceptional problem-solving, time management skills and a keen attention to detail
  • A willingness to actively contribute to making our agency (and the universe) better
