Environmental Compliance Auditor Occupational Health & Safety GroupMississauga, ONPinchin Ltd. is looking for an energetic, organized, and professional individual to fill an Environmental Compliance Auditor position in our Mississauga office.
A Day in the life of Environmental Compliance Auditor:- Manage compliance related projects (e.g., write proposals, issue invoices, manage clients)
- Conduct environmental, health and safety (EH&S) compliance audits
- Conduct ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001/ISO 45001 internal audits for various clients
- Help clients implement their management systems (ISO14001 and OHSAS18001/ISO 45001) and provide EH&S compliance support.
- Prepare Environmental Emergency (E2) plans for clients.
- Manage non-hazardous waste audits, and develop waste reduction work plans for industrial, institutional and commercial clients.
- Develop and deliver training presentations related to EH&S compliance (e.g., TDG, Spills Response, ISO14001, OHSAS18001/ISO 45001, etc.)
- Conduct other compliance related projects including but not limited to spill response plans, hazardous waste management, environmental risk assessments; and
- Be part of a national team of EH&S professionals
What you bring to the Pinchin team - Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Engineering. A graduate degree is preferred.
- Professional or Technical Designation (EP(CEA), EP(EMSLA), P.Eng., CRSP, ROH, CIH)
- 10 years of experience in EH&S field
- 5 years of experience within consulting or related discipline
- 5 years of experience as lead auditor
- Great people skills and a proven track record with client
- Valid driver's license, insurance & personal vehicle (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
- Availability to travel
