JOB SUMMARYA Human Resources Project Manager plans, runs, and delivers projects designed to improve the HR function in an organization. The Human Resources Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization's research, development, and product implementation efforts. As a Human Resources Project Manager, you will help identify improvement opportunities and plan, lead, and manage projects that significantly grow our HR capacity, efficiency, and effectiveness. You will be results-oriented, thorough, and able to execute projects within agreed-upon deadlines. In addition to expert HR knowledge and experience, a Human Resources Project Manager is also an adept project manager, able to plan a project, set timelines and milestones, allocate resources, manage budgets, and deliver results. The HR Project Manager's role combines a deep understanding of all aspects of HR at the management level with the vision, planning ability, and drive to generate positive change as efficiently as possible. This is a hybrid position that combines remote work with in-person responsibilities. This role may require periodic visits to our office and, as needed, to stores or other company locations. Travel and on-site schedules will vary based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinates and conducts meetings; maintains open communications and relationships with upper management, clients, and the project team; facilitates and keeps stakeholders apprised of the status of projects; and responds to questions or inquiries about the project.
- Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
- Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigating risk (including project termination if appropriate).
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
- Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Manages resources within particular departments and outside service providers, as well as materials committed to the projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.
