We are looking for a Director, Technical Services for our Deland, FL office!Summary: This position is to direct and focus Kingspan's approach on our Engineering and Technical services offered to our customer base. The objective is to optimize the processes, technology, quality, and service levels of our technical service and warranty outputs to an industry leading position in North America. The role requires leading and executing the vision and strategic plan to grow and elevate the technical departments across North America ensuring that company policies and guidelines are met.
Essential Duties:- Communicate directly with Architects, Specifiers, General Contractors, Installation Contractors, and Project Owners regarding implementation of Kingspan products.
- Communicate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments regarding technical product and application information.
- Manage a team of technical service professionals and ensure the most current and accurate building codes and approvals are maintained.
- Prepare and present technical presentations/reports for the management team and customers as requested.
- Assist with Field Services in building diagnostics and warranties.
- Manage and support engineering analysis of panels including structural (wind load, seismic, anchoring, deflections, etc.), environmental (thermal, moisture, etc.), and other application requirements.
- Identify areas of opportunity for testing of existing product lines.
- Work closely with R&D and Compliance departments with product development, testing, and certification requirements.
- Manage and support construction detail development when requested.
- Manage and maintain standard and special product warranties and the process.
- Update and maintain product specifications as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:- Bachelor's in engineering and minimum 10 years' experience in building envelope design or support.
- Familiarity with Architectural and Structural drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with building codes and standards.
- Ability to understand and communicate building science principles.
Computer Skills: - Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
Other Skills and Requirements:- Be self-motivated and capable of handling multiple projects.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
