Primary Function: The National Pricing Manager is responsible for providing support to our customers and sales team by managing and preparing various types of quotes. This role will work closely with the sales leaders and manufacturer representatives to ensure timely and accurate pricing information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales support and customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who wants to develop the role by taking ownership of the process, applying the appropriate analytics, and in turn, driving increased business.
Responsibilities:- Create & deliver accurate and timely quotes for customers, ensuring that all information is complete and processed in Oracle
- Create/Modify and deliver TAP (Temporary Area Pricing) sheets ensuring that all information is complete and processed in Oracle
- Monitor internal and market pricing trends through manual work and software
- Review requests for quotes (RFQs) and ensure all necessary information is obtained from the sales team
- Provide accurate and up-to-date pricing information for all products requested
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, manufacturer reps, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure that all quotes are compliant with laws, company policies, and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns
- Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain Price books
- Ad-hoc reporting requests
- Maintenance of customer specific quotes and TAP pricing
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks, such as data entry and reporting
- Evaluation and testing of quoting software
Job Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required
- 3-5 years of general business experience in a sales support or customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Above average proficiency in Excel (certifications or advanced education strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic Oracle understanding is preferred but not required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time independently and within a team environment
- Superior customer/client focus with a focus on honesty and integrity
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external business partners
- Ability to prioritize, organize and plan workload effectively
- Ability to learn quickly, multitask and perform under deadlines
- Positive attitude and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- This position may require up to 5% travel including overnight stays for customer and rep visits, trainings, and meetings at manufacturing/corporate facilities.
