DescriptionDependent upon experience:
HR RepresentativeUnder supervision, perform duties and assignments of a general scope related to the functions of the Human Resources Department; perform studies and undertake projects and prepare reports; perform special assignments, as assigned.
HR AdministratorUnder direct supervision, assists in the planning coordinating and administration of all human resource functions including but not limited to, total rewards, employee relations, labor relations, training and development, document management, workers' compensation, affirmative action, diversity, ethics, and the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and business strategies.
HR SupervisorUnder minimal supervision, develops and assists in the administration of all human resource functions.
Expected to align personal goals with OVEC/IKEC Strategic Business Plan, it's the Mission, Vision and Values, as well as its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts.

Key ResponsibilitiesSome responsibilities listed below may be dependent upon experience and job level of the successful candidate.
- Benefits enrollment for new employees as well as annual open enrollment.
- Counsel employees regarding employee benefits.
- The preparation and presentation of programs, employee information meetings, and other company functions.
- Total rewards, including compensation and employee benefits.
- The administration of the compensation program, including daily payroll operations. Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission to the service provider and validate reports.
- Retirement counseling and financial education.
- Maintaining contact with counterparts in the sponsoring companies in order to keep abreast of changes in wages and salaries, employee benefits, working conditions, contract provisions, as well as other personnel related areas.
- Benefits administration; design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with all state and federal regulations. Negotiate and purchase appropriate products (health insurance, life insurance, savings plans, pension, etc..)
- The management of security activities related to access control.
- Development and maintenance of the Human Resources departmental budget.
- Responsible for the coordination of Company events, group tours, and local site visitations.
- Responsible for keeping human resources materials such as employee handbooks, position descriptions, SPDs and other various manuals up to date.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field required
- 1-2 years Human Resources Benefits Administration experience required
- 5+ years Human Resources Benefits Administration experience preferred
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred
