Siemens Industry is looking for a Training Specialist for their Pomona, CA manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for working on specific training initiatives for the Product lines employees and support functions by analysing training needs, designing and developing content, and leading in person training classes. This position reports to the Quality Manager and will have no direct reports.
We are looking for Training Specialist. This position will be based at Pomona California. Responsibilities: - Partner with different department managers and deploy training initiatives
- Analyze and assesses training and development needs
- Implement training plans and curriculum that align with the department and individual business objectives
- Designs, develops, evaluates, and updates training content, materials, manuals, tests, and related training aids to ensure optimum effectiveness
- Enhance the training methods and tools based on assessment and/or specified training needs including individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, meetings, eLearning, workshops, refreshers, in person, virtual, and/or self-study.
- Manages administrative functions necessary to deliver, document, and track training programs. This includes scheduling, employee notification, and arranging for facility set-up.
- Prepares and reports on training delivery and curriculum effectiveness
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in training and development in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with all levels in the organization
- Strong administrative, organizational, and project management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Proficient digital literacy including Outlook and MS Office (e.g. O365, Sharepoint, Forms, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
- Solid understanding of and experience with learning management systems
- Experience crafting e-learning content
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma High experience.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of work accurately

- The pay range for this position is $79,400 - $97,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
