Position Summary
The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the program's Cybersecurity Plan and Processes, to include plans, reports, inspections, training, and related activities.
Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government security clearance to be retained in the position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and maintain cybersecurity plans and processes in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Supports policy development and planning.
- Performs all required testing and documentation submissions required to support RMF processes.
- Provides cybersecurity functional support for assessments, authorizations, and documentation of fielded systems.
- Coordinates and provides expert technical support to enterprise-wide cyber defense technicians to resolve cyber defense incidents.
- Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting.
- Manages incident response functions.
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal and team skills.
- Must be detail and safety-oriented.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related IT or Cybersecurity field preferred
- Minimum 3+ years related experience
- DoD Program experience
- Certification: Cloud+, PenTest+ or Security+
- Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- Clearance Level: Secret

- STIGs
- Identifying, capturing, containing, and reporting malware
- Outstanding written/verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office Products
- IT and Cybersecurity expertise May require lifting of 20-50 lbs
