THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a top consultant or existing Business Operations & Strategy team member to join the Strategy & Operations team. Reporting to the Senior VP, Business Operations (ex-EM from the Atlanta office), this Manager / Sr Manager role offers the opportunity to be part of a CEO-facing team working on executive-priority projects across Strategy, Revenue growth, Sales, and other operational topics. This is a great role for someone looking to apply their skillset across a broad range of topics in a high-growth environment; the team and business are growing, with lots of opportunities to progress quickly. This is an in-person role that requires you to be in the Atlanta area.

Note: Open to pre- and post-MBA candidates (title and leveling can flex based on experience and skills).

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Partner with SVP, Strategy & Operations and the Nexus Cognitive Executive team to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives and opportunities facing the business, operating as a thought leader and trusted advisor
• Own problems and outcomes from start to finish
• Develop and maintain operational and financial performance analyses to drive prioritization decisions
• Drive analytical insights, report findings, deliver recommendations, and present progress updates to the ELT
• Collaborate with Department leads to drive cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning
• Structure and lead complex, cross-functional projects independently, managing multiple work-streams & stakeholders

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE:

• Consulting toolkit: 2+ years in top-3 consulting reaching levels of Senior Business Analyst, Associate, or Junior Engagement Manager
• High productivity: Take meaningful responsibility and initiative for shaping and executing our strategy with limited oversight.
• Structured in thinking and approach: Develop and leverage frameworks to help structure the team's thinking, facilitate alignment across various stakeholders, and identify 80/20 opportunities to reach insightful, actionable answers without analysis overload.
• Skilled in analysis and presentation: Synthesize complex findings into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences. Make data-driven decisions.
• Strong writing skills: At Nexus Cognitive, we embrace a writing based culture and writing out crisp and thoughtful memo's is a highly valued attribute.
• An expert at prioritization: Experience (and an enjoyment of!) balancing numerous priorities and demands.
• Team-oriented: Energized by teamwork and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with project management and 'influencing without authority': Ability to turn insights into action, standing up projects and coordinating mixed groups of stakeholders to delivering results
• High-energy with a positive attitude: Motivated to work hard and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience at a top strategy consulting firm, investment bank, and/or operating experience in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment highly preferred.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Operations. Ex-EM from of the Atlanta office.

WHY NEXUS COGNITIVE

We offer a competitive package. The base salary range for this position is between $150,000 - $200,000 based on relevant years of experience and skills. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire.
