Position OverviewPantheon Data is looking for a
Human Resources Manager to act as a trusted partner by implementing the Company's HR strategy and providing daily HR guidance, tools, and support to the leadership team and employees. This position represents the overall HR function with the highest level of integrity, sharing the Company's vision and operating principles.
Responsibilities- Responsible for providing human resources support, including but not limited to company policies, recruiting, onboarding, providing employment law expertise, and solving employee relations situations such as investigations, mediations, progressive discipline, employment terminations, etc.
- Responsible for assisting with Benefits and 401k Administration, enrollment, terminations, and annual open enrollment.
- Assists with recordkeeping related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion, particularly regarding Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, and diversity initiatives.
- Collects information and data to assess cost and policy implications of negotiations and disputes. This may include management proposals, pay scales and wages, benefits, working conditions, and other mitigating circumstances.
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, and human resources.
- Tracks performance ratings and compiles HR-related statistics for the assigned group(s).
- Updates employee records with changes and/or corrections in employment status, including salary, position information, scheduled hours, and personal information.
- Assists hiring managers in choosing appropriate company jobs to best suit business needs; drafts or edits new job descriptions as the need arises.
- Collaborates with Recruiting team throughout the recruitment process; serves as an intermediary between Recruiting and hiring manager.
- Communicates effectively with other HR teams and departments as necessary.
- Must effectively recommend opportunities for continuous improvement to current processes and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Demonstrate ability to work with and support employees of all levels.
- Partner with management of select business units to: Provide a positive working environment where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to perform at their best. Respond to employee relations issues, and provide counsel, coaching, and training.
- Perform other Human Resources duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience- A minimum of five years of experience with HR Manager responsibilities in a mid-to large size matrix organization supporting government contracts.
- Solid understanding of Human Resources principals, concepts, best practices and standards.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination education and experience.
- PHR or SPHR or similar certification desired.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Must be highly organized, action-oriented and collaborative.
- Strong worth ethic and send of urgency with a customer service focused mindset.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across all levels of employees and management while earning respect and credibility.
- Ability to manage HR projects from idea through completion by establishing and adhering to project plans and deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while exceeding established goals and objectives.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of HR Employment Law with a US multi-state workforce.
- Must have experience responding to Employee Relation and Disciplinary issues.
- HRIS and ATS experience required, iSolved experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Proficient and confident in Microsoft Office Suite. Requires high level competency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Clearance RequirementsU.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

CompensationThe salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
