Job Summary:

As the Regional Human Resources Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to drive change by providing expertise in the various areas of HR. You will work closely with the Regional Director of Operations and the Corporate HR team to further enhance our culture, values, people programs, and overall employee experience. This position reports to the Corporate HR Manager- Field Operations.

The Regional Human Resources Business Partner executes the planning, coordination, facilitation, and oversight of HR activities for 13 union production facilities in North Carolina, Virginia, New York, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Delaware. This position supports a workforce of approximately 1600 employees.

Essential Functions:
• Develop and maintain successful working relationships in order to influence leaders and provide effective HR support and advice.
• Develop branch HR competency by training, advising, and consulting with branch HR, office managers and line managers.
• Manage and implement a variety of human resources strategies at the plant and sales regions, balancing business partner and corporate HR initiatives.
• Engage leadership in understanding HR initiatives, policies, procedures and processes.
• Know and understand talent at all levels and recommend and implement succession and development strategies.
• Manage OFCCP / AA / EEOC activities, compliance, and audits for the region.
• Promote and maintain optimal labor / management relations.

Qualifications:

1. Prior multi-location / multi-state experience.

2. Union/labor relations experience.

3. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

4. At least 7 years HR generalist experience.

5. Solid computer skills including MS Office. Experience with UKG Pro a plus.

6. Experienced in legal compliance with various laws and regulations covering areas such as EEOC, OFCCP, FMLA, FLSA, workers' compensation, etc. Must demonstrate a mastery of the state-specific employment laws for the states within the Region.

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
• HR certification preferred.

Office Location:
• Successful candidate must have the ability to work from home (must have a home office at their residence).

Travel Requirements:
• Regular travel throughout the region is required and is estimated at 30-40%.
• Company vehicle is provided for business and personal use.

Typical Environmental Conditions:
• Office and remote work at industrial laundry facilities.
• Working in and out of branch locations.
• Operating vehicles on public roads.

Physical Requirements:
• Physical Demands/Requirements - sitting, grasping, driving, stooping, lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, walking, writing, speaking, hearing.
• Must perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation efficiently and accurately, and without causing significant safety threat to self or others.
