In support of System Sustainment & Readiness Division, Marine Corps Systems Command, we are seeking a Logistics Analyst II with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.
Under limited supervision, leads and directs integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment. Recommends ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards. Analyzes information in government Logistics Information Systems. Assists government principals in development and update of training material. Captures best practices and monitors DoD/service policy to incorporate into training and support material. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, modify, and revise training products for the Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE), most specifically Maintenance Planning & Management
- Develop and revise Job Aids relating to the IPSE, Product Support analysis, and Related Disciplines
- With a working knowledge of SharePoint, update sites and maintain files
- Assist in development and implementation of logistics process flows, policy, procedures and provide recommendations for improvement
- Conduct research and analysis to compile information (point papers, presentations, reports) on Government-specified Life Cycle Logistics and Product Support issues
- Make training, policy, and process recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Prepare for, schedule, and facilitate meetings for the client to include administrative support, providing minutes, and action trackers with follow up.
Education/Experience:- High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Six (6) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in acquisition logistics is preferred.
- Four (4) additional years of experience a substitute for a degree.
Specific/Preferred Requirements: - Ability to maintain a CAC
- The ideal candidate will have experience in and knowledge of Marine Corps maintenance operations
- Knowledge of SharePoint and PowerApps preferred
- Desired familiarity with the following systems: TFSMS, TDM-Catalyst, GCSS-MC, and FLIS is desired
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred)
