A philanthropic endeavor that truly embodies our corporate mission.Summary: The Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating and enhancing logistics activities at Nice North America sites with both manufacturing and distribution functions. They analyze, plan, and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes, reduce costs, and ensure seamless operations across diverse site activities.
Primary Responsibilities: - Evaluate the unique logistics requirements of each site and develop tailored strategies to enhance efficiency for manufacturing and distribution.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to meet site-specific needs.
- Collaborate closely with the inventory management team to align logistics strategies with their goals.
- Provide logistics insights and data to support inventory optimization efforts.
- Ensure seamless coordination between logistics operations and inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize disruptions in supply chain flow.
- Analyze logistical implications of inventory decisions and provide recommendations to enhance overall supply chain efficiency without directly managing inventory.
- Plan transportation routes and methods to minimize costs, transit times, and carbon footprint, considering manufacturing and distribution activities.
- Collaborate with carriers and logistics partners to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, considering the dual functions of sites.
- Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Stay up to date with relevant logistics regulations and ensure compliance with industry standards for both manufacturing and distribution.
- Manage documentation and permits, import/export agreements required for transportation and storage across diverse site operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies for manufacturing and distribution activities.
- Optimize logistics budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Continuously review and refine logistics processes to increase efficiency and quality in both manufacturing and distribution.
- Implement best practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement across diverse site functions.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field plus 6 - 9 years of Logistics Experience preferred.
- CSCP, CPIM, LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt or higher would be preferred.
- Customs Compliance experience: Regulations, Trade agreements, Trade Classification, and Hazardous Goods Compliance preferred.
- Experience with Freight Forwarding and 3PL coordination preferred.
- Experience with Environmental/Sustainability Regulations is a plus.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: - Strong written communication and verbal skills.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection, analytics, and data driven decision-making.
- Strong Knowledge of logistics concepts, procedures, software applications, and tools.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.

- Financial acumen and ability to track, analyze, and manage cost implications for Nice North America.
- Holistic view to align logistics strategies with other functions' goals within Nice North America.
- Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self.
- Strong computer literacy and analytics required, including (intermediate or advanced skills in) Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail.
