Position Summary: The Field Operations Project Manager III is the subject matter expert in project management and provides strategy, guidance and direction on project management practices to ensure delivery of strategic and highly complex projects for the Field Operations team. This position supports, plans and manages projects to ensure they are completed and executed on time and within budget. The Field Operations Project Manager III leads, influences and helps to plan, coordinate, and designate project resources, prepares and manages budgets, monitors progress, and keeps stakeholders informed throughout the project. The Field Operations Project Manager III will work on projects related to warehouse, delivery and planning, merchandising, field service and safety.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: - Assess, evaluate, determine, and define project scope and objectives
- Allocate resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Collaborate with business and/or functional partners to define project scope, desired results, and deliverables
- Develop, oversee, manage, and measure the project's work effort on the following knowledge areas: Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk and Procurement Management
- Prepare and manage budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project
- Oversee project progress and adjust as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's degree with 6 plus years of project management or related experience or HS Diploma/GED with 9 plus years of project management or related experience
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience completing projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Strong project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all teams
- Resourcefulness mindset
- Ability to work independently while managing others through influence
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Travel up to 25%
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Experience: - Master's degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Planning experience in a Food and/or Beverage environment
- Experience in a Food and/or beverage manufacturing environment
