If you are motivated and believe in the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People," join our team!The Senior Compensation Analyst is primarily responsible for assuring tactical execution of broad-based compensation administration within the major areas of job analysis, market pricing, internal focal point processes, and surveys. The position is hybrid, with regular presence at Raleigh Headquarters Campus required.
Responsibilities:1. 30% Job Analysis:- Review job descriptions to assure that job analysis has been completed and documented according to internal standards and are compliant with regulatory environment.
2. 50% Market Pricing:- Determine compensable elements of jobs based on their description.
- Perform matching against standard survey benchmark jobs.
- Analyze job pricing based on external and internal equity issues.
- Assure Compensation's market pricing catalogue is up to date.
3. 10% Merit Processes:- Assist in merit process, validating data, processes, documentation, and systems.
- Provide material support to end users for systems issues as necessary.
4. 10% Compensation Surveys- Review data needs for surveys and provide initial matching and requested data.
- Submit to survey vendors.
- Work with survey vendors to scrub data.
- Review survey results and adjust alignments.
Required Education- Bachelor's Degree; Acceptable fields of study: HR, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or closely related subject.
Required Relevant Experience: 5 years- Required Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, incorporating pivot tables, vlookups, match, index, statistical functions
- Demonstrable experience in compensation or HR discipline as an analyst (5 years)
- Demonstrable experience and expertise in job analysis and market pricing using surveys
- Experience in compliance categorization of positions and people pursuant to EEO, FLSA, and similar items
Desired Education, Experience, Knowledge, Abilities, Skills:- Certification in Compensation, Analytics, or Human Resources
- Experience using Workday to generate reports and analyze data
- Direct experience in Compensation in a Financial Instituation
- Experience using a market pricing tool such as CompAnalyst Enterprise, PayFactors, or similar product
- Experience using a job description tool such as JDXpert, CompAnalyst JobArchitect, or similar product
- Advanced degree in HR, Mathematics, Business, Finance or similar discipline
- Participation in WorldAtWork local networking
