Civil Designer to join our
Commercial & Institutional - PM/CM Team at our office in
Bethlehem, PA.
YOUR IMPACTCHA is committed to delivering on-time, on-budget and high-quality projects, working closely with owners throughout the process to ensure success. We provide the necessary tools and skillset to effectively manage construction projects from schools and apartment buildings to municipal buildings and warehouses.
At CHA, our Civil Designer is responsible for the research, preparation, and creation of various types of contract or construction drawings and/or documents. This key role collaborates with senior engineering designers, mentors junior engineering designers, and collaborates with design teams on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.
The Civil Designer produces and revises routine drawings or sketches related to the engineering design with minimal oversight from senior staff, and is familiar with company standards, client expectations and typical engineering practices. The professional in this role prepares project "As-Builts" documentation, and field assignments when appropriate.
The Civil Designer uses drawing production software (REVIT, AutoCAD, etc.) to create construction documents.

REQUIREMENTS- Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science or related technical field is required
- A minimum of 4 years' experience of document production experience in the related engineering discipline
- Demonstrates a solid working knowledge about the respective engineering discipline
- Proficiency with discipline-based software (AutoCAD and Revit) required; proficiency with AutoDesk Civil 3D preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
- Strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
SALARY RANGE:$75,000 - $93,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
