Position: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Rockville, MD - Hybrid / Remote but occasional visit is required. DMV areas candidate preferred.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Business Analysis:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Conduct in-depth technical research and analysis to support the development of innovative solutions.
• Identify and document system enhancements, process improvements, and user stories to guide development teams.
• Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions, driving efficient project delivery.
2. Documentation and Technical Writing:
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, system specifications, process flows, and API documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather technical information and translate it into user-friendly documentation.
• Develop clear and concise content that effectively communicates complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Regularly update and maintain existing documentation to reflect system changes and updates.
3. Communication and Collaboration:
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams, project managers, and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project alignment.
• Conduct interviews and workshops with subject matter experts to gather insights for documentation and project requirements.
• Present complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner during meetings and presentations.
4. Quality Assurance:
• Review and validate technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards.
• Assist in testing and validating software applications to ensure they meet documented specifications and user requirements.
Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience (6+) as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with a track record of successfully bridging business and technical domains.
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
• Experience in ServiceNow implementation projects experience is required.
• Proficiency in gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA and version control systems is desirable.
