The RoleAs Product Designer at Valence, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing leadership development through design. You'll craft intuitive, powerful user experiences for our AI-powered coaching platform, directly impacting how industry giants like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and General Mills develop their leaders. What You'll Do- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create designs that align with our business goals and resonate with our users.
- Conceptualize and execute on visually stunning, intuitive, and effective designs for Valence's platform.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and pain points, and translate these insights into powerful design solutions.
- Help develop and maintain design systems that enable our teams to move quickly and consistently as we scale.
- Support the development of a growing design function at Valence.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably within an early, B2B rapidly growing Saas company.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design, including experience with complex, data-intensive applications.
- Experience working with engineering teams to implement designs, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of product development.
- Ability to lead design projects from conception to execution, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Location and Work EnvironmentCandidates based in New York will be given preference for this hybrid role, 3 days a week in office in Union Square. Remote candidates in other major cities in MT or ET will be considered. Candidates must be comfortable balancing colleagues in global timezones, as needed.
