TeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced
Business Consultant Level III to provide expert analysis and consultation services for a federal client with facilities in Alexandria, VA.
Duties / Responsibilities: - Provide support during the preparation and finalization of contractual documentation.
- Conduct analysis of data to determine or clarify requirements or strategy decisions.
- Provide support and assistance in government business practices, process re-engineering, and business process development.
- Supports business metrics development, facility and workforce planning, communications, and marketing planning.
- Helps with management-related issues as designated in specific tasks order(s).
- Draft statements of work, performance work statements, statements of objectives, work orders, service level agreements, organizational level agreements, system specifications, acquisition plans, and Information Technology Acquisition Review (ITAR) requests.
- Develop, write, and recommend inputs and materials for solicitations, proposals, evaluations, agreements, reports, briefs, and related technical and administrative documents concerned with hardware, software, system, and/or service development, acquisition, evaluation, deployment, installation, operation, maintenance, improvement, and/or retirement/decommissioning.
- Analyze and communicate stakeholders' needs and feedback.
- Participate in special project activities and/or meetings as required.
- Conduct detailed market research and analysis of technical data.
- Read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives.
- Demonstrate familiarity with operational and functional requirements, system specifications, performance-based contracts, and earned value management.
Minimum Requirements: - U.S. Citizen
- Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
- Master's degree
- Seven (7) years' experience in business development, re-engineering, or management.
- Five (5) years of proficiency in MS applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data and information.
Preferred Requirements: - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Project Management Professional (PMPĀ®) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to read and interpret acquisition policies, regulations, and directives.
Background Investigation:
As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for all the categories' issues. The government is looking to confirm that you are in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
