- Primary requirements:
- The candidate will be responsible for designing new modules for an existing application using Microservices architecture preferably with frameworks like Java Spring boot. This requires 5 years of Java Microservices development experience and also experience developing Restful APIs
- The application uses DB2 as the database but will have the possibility to move to a non-relational database. Minimum of 2 years' experience with DB2 and any other non-relational database
- The application primarily uses MQ for the communication between several modules. Minimum of 2 years' experience installing, maintaining, developing using IBM MQ
- The application is hosted on a containerized platform. The candidate should have experience of deploying applications in any of the containerized platforms like IBM Cloud Private or Open Shift or similar techs
- "Good to have" requirements:
- Part of the application is built in IBM IIB; it will be good to have IBM IIB knowledge and experience
- The application we use is IBM Financial Transaction Manager: Experience in IBM FTM is good to have
- The payment rail we support is TCH RTP (The Clearing House - Real Time Payments). If the candidate has RTP experience that's a great add
- Experience working in an agile environment and coordinating with teams like DEVOPS is a good to have
- Experience with Kafka is a great add
- Primarily looking for candidates that are local to Columbus or can move to Columbus once we start working from offices even in hybrid model
