Overview:

Aegis has partnered with a manufacturing firm in the Fishers area who is seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team. The HRBP will work closely with leadership and employees to align HR strategies with business objectives, drive talent management initiatives, and enhance organizational effectiveness. This role is crucial in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with labor regulations in the manufacturing sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational needs and develop HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent for manufacturing roles.
  • Implement employee development programs, including training, mentorship, and succession planning.
  • Manage performance appraisal processes and facilitate constructive feedback discussions.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances, ensuring a fair and respectful resolution process.
  • Conduct investigations related to employee issues and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the manufacturing environment.
  • Monitor workplace safety and advocate for employee well-being.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, and inform business decisions.
  • Prepare reports on HR activities and outcomes for senior leadership.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and help manage transitions effectively within the manufacturing environment.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to promote a diverse workforce.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations specific to manufacturing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite; experience with HR analytics is preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
