Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the manufacturing industry that is looking to hire a Electrician in their plant in Itasca, IL! Responsibilities:

The Electrician will primarily focus on enclosure-related tasks, such as running rigid and EMT conduit, pulling wires, and terminating devices like lighting, switches, HVAC systems, and other components. This role requires a strong foundation in residential electrical work while contributing to industrial electrical projects as well. Over time, the Electrician will be trained to assist with the roofing equipment segment of the business, which involves machine wiring and panel building. The position offers a fast-paced work environment and the potential for substantial earnings through unlimited overtime.

Ideal Experience:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· 3+ years of experience in a general electrical experience either residential, construction, or manufacturing.

· Experience running rigid and EMT conduit.

· Skilled in pulling wires and terminating devices such as lighting, switches, and HVAC systems.

· Knowledge of general residential electrical systems and practices.

· Familiarity with machine wiring and panel building is a plus, or willingness to be trained.

· Ability to interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics accurately.

· Competence in wiring and terminating HVAC-related devices.

· Proficiency in using standard electrical tools and testing equipment.

· Strong adherence to electrical safety standards and protocols.

· Willingness to cross-train and learn tasks across both enclosure and roofing divisions.

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

· Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending conduit, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy equipment when needed.
