REPORTS TO: Business Supply Chain Leader



WORK SCHEDULE: Typically 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday); additional overtime as needed or required; additional off-shift work as needed or required; additional weekend work as needed or required



FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUMMARY - The Supply Chain Leader for the Sharon Plant is responsible for analyzing internal and external customer releases/forecasts and providing Weaving with a schedule/forecast to satisfy its customer’s requirements based upon capacity restraints. This includes daily collaboration as needed with internal/external customers & suppliers to resolve any issues in order to ensure optimal performance. Some critical metrics will be schedule execution (compliance to pull / plan), inventory control (acceptable levels of inventory dollars), supermarket market compliance (finished goods & raw material), etc.



OBJECTIVE - The Supply Chain Leader is charged with ethically and safely maintaining and improving the areas of responsibility to meet Sharon Plant’s safety, quality, environmental, cost and production goals in support of the corporate objective to be the preferred automotive interior supplier.



SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Lead safety process in area of responsibility
  • Capacity Planning
  • Data Analysis - Excel and JOMAR, etc
  • Inventory Control and Planning
  • Creation of Weekly Weave Schedule & Forecast
  • Daily/Weekly Management of Incoming Purchased Materials for areas of responsibility
  • Lead Planning Meeting
  • Lean Responsibilities in Area of Responsibility
  • Inputting new specs in Jomar & Barco
  • Monthly Greige/Loom Beam/Case Yarn inventory.
  • Daily communication with Texturing SCL and Abbeville SCL
  • Coordinate daily activities of the Warehouse operation and schedule personnel as needed.
  • Present in the MAP Meeting
  • Other items as prioritized by supervisor.



REQUIREMENTS / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor’s degree or sufficient and relevant practical experience
  • Minimum of two years of work experience with Sage or other textile company with experience in Supply Chain preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (multi-task).
  • Adaptability and flexibility based on changing circumstances
  • Attention to detail, well-organized & exceptional follow-up skills
  • Ability to lead meetings (Virtual & In-Person)
