Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouse and data lake solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on Azure technologies.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable and robust data warehouse and data lake solutions on Microsoft Azure platform.
- Lead the development and implementation of data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and architecture to support business needs.
- Utilize Azure Data Factory to orchestrate and automate data workflows.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer designing and implementing data warehouse and data lake solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and strong understanding of data architecture principles.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for ETL and data integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a significant plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting.
