Description:
- Supplier Performance Management
- Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes
- Apply understanding of assigned category to drive effective planning, forecasting and execution.
- Utilize negotiation skills to maintain favorable terms with suppliers
- Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for key regional Suppliers and monitor supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement
- Apply analytical thinking to resolve procurement challenges.
- Leading the procurement process for your designated area
- Collaborating with internal counterparts to gain a comprehensive view of supplier performance
- Supporting the implementation of category strategies and cost-saving projects
- Participating in supplier benchmarking analysis to enhance cost, supply, and quality aspects of procurement activities
- Business Partnering
- Maintain positive relationships with supplier(s) and effectively resolve supplier performance/capability issues to ensure alignment with strategic direction.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or vendor management
- Preferred by not required bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business or related field
- A proven track record in procurement
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing or vendor management
- Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
