Responsibilities
The Senior Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and developing the company’s supply chain while creating and implementing a vision for continuous improvement of procurement processes:
- Oversees supply chain strategy and operations
- Drives continuous improvement and supplier development through rigorous evaluation, selection, audits, and feedback processes
- Develops and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Balances supplier competition to achieve optimal price, quality, and delivery
- Leads supplier negotiations and conducts vendor summits
- Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries
- Analyzes market trends, geopolitical factors, and production processes to maintain margins, optimize lead times, and anticipate risks
Experience
- Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management or related field
- 15+ years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- International purchasing and contraction negotiations experience
- 10+ years in a supervisory role
