Required Experience:
Candidates must be able to provide verifiable work experience where they were directly involved with the planning and execution of a project controls program on large-scale construction projects, or the cost management of a large portfolio of construction projects.
Skills:
- Analysis / Forecasting Required
- Have a firm understanding of how to interpret engineering and construction contracts and implement methodologies by which to monitor and control such contracts.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Knowledgeable in planning and implementing project controls methodologies
- Skilled in cost forecasting on large-scale construction projects
- Ability to interpret engineering and construction contracts
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with upper management and project team members
- Understanding and interpreting project schedules for effective cost forecasting
- Proficient in basic computing skills and Excel spreadsheets
- Experience with SAP (desirable but not required)
Education:
- Higher education in construction/project management, engineering, business, accounting, or finance
- Several years of experience implementing project controls methodologies on large-scale construction projects
- Verifiable work experience in planning and executing project controls programs or cost management of large construction projects
- Certifications from PMI or AACE (advantageous)
