We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team in a full-time hybrid role based in San Diego, CA, with the option for remote work. The ideal candidate will deliver top-notch legal support, help grow our practice, and provide outstanding service to our clients. Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse caseload of pre-litigation and active litigation matters.
• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and trial preparation materials.
• Work closely with other attorneys to prepare for meetings, depositions, and negotiations, offering strategic insights and advice.
• Perform legal research to guide clients on the strengths and weaknesses of their claims and defenses.
• Negotiate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to resolve disputes and reach favorable outcomes.
• Keep clients informed about case progress and strategy.
• Mentor junior attorneys, supporting their professional development.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• At least 4 years of experience in civil litigation (experience in insurance defense is a plus).
• Proficiency with legal research tools like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw, and a commitment to staying updated on legal developments.
• Strong skills in legal research and analysis.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Deep understanding of legal procedures and their application in various contexts.
• Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
• Trial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
