Job Description:
- Backfill contract position for the Med-Surg/Tele unit, 5C
- Work schedule includes 4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Provide care on a 30-bed unit with a team comprised of various healthcare professionals, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5
- Familiarity with equipment such as Welch Allyn Vital Sign Monitors, COWs, Hoyer Lifts, PCA Pumps, CareView Virtual Sitters, Telepsych, and Teleneuro
- Use Meditech electronic medical record system
- Perform typical procedures including stroke care, NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care
- Seek candidates who are team-oriented and self-motivated
- Adhere to a dress code of navy scrubs, noting that hoop nose piercings are not allowed
- Join a unit recognized for multiple ICARE awards and staff recognition based on patient feedback
- Work alongside a seasoned staff in an environment with updated equipment and technologies
