Pay Range: $51 - $51.72/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Joint and Spine Center/Musculoskeletal 4-5:
• The orthopedic/neurosurgery unit is a fast-paced, 58-bed unit consisting of all private rooms located in The Joint and Spine Center (JSC) on floors 4-5.
• It has state-of-the art technology including the Navicare Nurse Call system, in room computing, patient information and precaution monitors as well as texting communication.
• The unit primarily provides specialized care for patients undergoing orthopedic/neurosurgical procedures including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, spinal surgeries, craniotomies and intracranial hemorrhage patients.
• The unit may also receive medical/surgical overflow.
• The experience of caring for the diverse patient population on this unit provides staff with a solid clinical foundation in medical surgical nursing.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Ohio RN License or Compact - required
• BLS (American Heart Assoc.) - required
• 2 years of acute medical-surgical (neuro/ortho experience) required within last 5 years - required
• The RN demonstrates the knowledge, abilities, and skills to provide age and culturally specific patient care and education.
• The RN effectively communicates with peers, utilizes appropriate channels of communication and maintains absolute confidentiality.
• The RN maintains competence and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth.
• The RN demonstrates the ability to accept and implement change and the ability to work in a culturally diverse setting.
• Diploma of Nursing
• Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Ohio RN License or Compact.
• BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
