Location : 449 West 23RD Street, Panama City, FL 32405
Project Duration : Fulltime -Permanent
On call: As needed
Call Back: 2hr min; time and a half
SIGN ON: $10k
Relocation: Case by Case Basis
Shift Diffs: Nights is $3/ hour & Weekends is $5
Available Shifts:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7a-7p
Monday-Thursday 11p-7:30a
Monday-Friday 11a-7:30p Weekend Days @ FSED- Fri, Sat, Sun 7a- 7p
About the Facility :
Client is a 238-bed acute care hospital. For 40 years, we have served Bay County and the surrounding communities. We are an accredited facility offering comprehensive care. This includes advanced cardiac assessment and treatment. We offer certified women's services. Our hospital has dedicated spaces for adult and pediatric emergency services. We are certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care. Our hospital is accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center. We are the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. Other services that we offer include orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac, vascular, and interventional services. We are home to the only Pediatric ER in the community. We have the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region. Together, we continue to raise the bar in healthcare.
Job Summary:

• The CT Technologist performs technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology.
• Regulates equipment used to expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS.

Qualifications:
Education Requirements:

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT concepts to include head, body, MSK, spine and chest imaging

Experience Requirements:

• One year of CT experience preferred. Candidates DO NOT need to have acute care experience for Gulf Coast Hospital. However, for the FSED opportunities they need to have acute care experience

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS
