Direct Hire - Physical Therapist
Position Summary
The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications is required for all Patient Care area Positions.
The Physical Therapist is a licensed professional who is responsible and accountable for the evaluation, planning, implementation,
and assessment of physical therapy services for inpatients and/or outpatients. The Physical Therapist is involved in assisting the
Supervisor in compiling reports, data, etc. The Physical Therapist will plan and provide care to patients reflecting individual patient
needs (cognitive, emotional, educational, physical and chronological maturation). The inventory, distribution/delivery of
medications may be required.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Ability to read and communicate in the English language.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Required License and/or Certification
- Maryland or Delaware state licensure is required, depending on the state of residency.
- Licensure requires 30 continuing education contact hours or 3.0 CEU's per 2 years.
- CPR Certification is required.
Experience
- Previous Experience Preferred.

- Often works under the pressure of time and accuracy in accomplishing patient care.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills.
Responsibilities for Assets
- Works with numerous expensive and complex instruments.
- Reports maintenance needs promptly and is responsible for annual calibration.
Contact with others
- Has almost constant contact with patients and families requiring skill in communication, motivation and teaching.
- Works effectively with medical staff, department managers, nursing personnel and administration.
- Maintains cooperative working relationships both inter and intra-departmentally.
