The Perlant is a private social club rooted in wine. We are building a community for our members through shared experiences and exceptional food, wine and hospitality

The Perlant Bartender plays a critical role in our member’s experience and will be key in setting the tone for our creative beverage service. Anchored in our wine bar, our bartender must provide an elevated guest experience, maintain the bar to the highest standards, and offer personalized service. This role requires a refined sense of hospitality, an intimate knowledge of premium spirits, wines, and cocktails, and a commitment to upholding the standards of The Perlant.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation and Service:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and craft cocktails, wine, champagne, and high-end spirits.
• Customize drinks based on member preferences and special requests.
• Accurately measure and mix ingredients to craft well-balanced drinks.
• Ensure consistency in drink presentation and flavor in-line with club standards.

Member Engagement:

• Provide attentive and personalized service to members and guests, learning their preferences and anticipating their needs.
• Build strong rapport with members, offering a welcoming and generous atmosphere. Manage special requests and accommodate dietary restrictions when possible.

Menu Knowledge:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the club’s cocktail, wine, and spirits offerings.
• Suggest beverage pairings for meals and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
• Stay informed about new beverage trends to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

Bar Management:

• Maintaining a clean, well-organized, and fully stocked bar is key to our success and members overall enjoyment of the space. 
• Manage inventory, ensuring that high-demand items are always available.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of beverages and garnishes.
• Accurately track orders and manage payments, ensuring proper billing and record-keeping

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all liquor laws, regulations, and club policies
• Enforce responsible alcohol service, monitoring consumption levels and addressing any issues that arise with tact and discretion.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the waitstaff, kitchen, and management teams to ensure smooth service and coordination, particularly during busy events.
• Assist in planning and executing special events and member programming

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fine dining, luxury hotel, or private club setting.
• Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktails, and beer
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide personalized service in a professional and discreet manner.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

• High-end, exclusive club environment.
• Evening, weekend, and most holiday shifts will be required.
